The Mt Lehman Fall Fair, which began in 1986, is an integral part of the Mt Lehman community because it upholds the area's rich agricultural heritage while fostering a strong sense of unity and connection. Created by community members seeking a local event during Vancouver's Expo '86, the fair became a tradition celebrating the harvest, featuring local produce, farm exhibits, and activities that honour the region's farming roots. 

Beyond its agricultural focus, the fair serves as a vital social hub, bringing together residents, families, and local businesses for a day of fun, live entertainment, and community-building. Hosted at the historic Mt Lehman Elementary School, United Church and Community Hall, it also functions as a fundraiser, with proceeds supporting school initiatives and enriching the community via the Mt Lehman Community Association.
